For my PhD, I did several years of programming language research, mainly in static typing, which turned me in to a believer of dynamic programming languages. My first dynamic language love was Smalltalk. Later, I created a course on dynamic programming languages at Stockholm University/KTH.
Currently, I am an expat doing dynamic programming language research at Purdue Uni., Indiana. We are researching extensible languages and program--programming language co-evolution. We are building our own language, and soon you will be able to do the same! |
