English Recently emmigrated from the windy city of Wellington, New Zealand, Sam's recent work has included multi-core development for OpenParallel and writing C Postgres extensions for a travel industry startup. Sam first talked at a YAPC in Paris 2003, later in Birmingham in 2006 and most recently, 2010 in Pisa. Sam is the JFDI master who converted the Perl Perforce repository to git.
