YAPC::Europe 2011 “Modern Perl”

During my second visit to Latvia in November of 2006, when I even didn’t attend any YAPC, I took a picture of this glass pyramid. It was not an ordinal city construction, and looked like the one in front of Louvre in Paris, also having an entrance and stairs inside.

Nobody knew at that time that the building behind this pyramid will become the venue of YAPC::Europe in 2011.
