Are you afraid of Unicode? Well, maybe you should be because it has fangs and claws, a pointy tale, and rabies. Make the wrong move and you might die. Let me show you a few moves that might help you to tame the beast. For the first part of the course, you'll learn the basics of Unicode. The second part of the course will show you how Perl integrates that. The last part will warn you off the parts that still bite you despite your best efforts.

This class will be hands on, and you should leave the class ready to use Unicode in your programs.
