This talk will focus on how we are using Perl Applications in Portugal Telecom
to run our core Authentication for ADSL and
rating Internet traffic by several criteria (like separating International from national traffic) for
more than 400K users.

Sorry, not much sysadmin stuff here. Real Perl apps that have to handle all the ADSL authentication and accounting, how to manage more than 160 GB of netflow data per day, rate traffic and bill accordingly.
