Tangram is an object-relational mapper that has been in use for a
while; see http://www.utsl.gen.nz/. This new iteration, codenamed T-3,
is much more ambitious. It is being developed in Perl, C++ and
Java. It supports persistence in XML files and relational databases,
multi-dimensional arrays, stereotypes (not just classes but also
e.g. unions). Moreover, T-3 is architectured as a framework that
attempts to simplify the creation of generic object manipulation
tools, related to persistence or not. The presentation focuses on the
Perl implementation. It ends with a walkthrough of a simple
object-to-html mapper.

This conference has already been presented at the FOSDEM. You can find
