There will be two workshops at this year's London Perl Workshop.

Building programming careers, on things that turn out to be different in the workplace to academentia, and on the advantages of knowing perl whether it's part of your job description or not.
Dave Cross will present:
The skills required to be a successful programmer in the work environment. There will also be a focus on good programming practices used in the modern workplace environment. Topics include: * Unit tests * Source code control * Continuous integration * Coding standards * Agile techniques * Other stuff drawn from The Pragmatic Programmer
