Noone likes to change a database schema. It's scary.

But sometimes you have to change the schema, either because the code is so closely mapped to it, or because you're refactoring legacy code, or you need to make it faster, bigger, better.

Several techniques are presented that let you change the schema sensibly and with control, and keep track of what is going on. How do you share these changes with other developers with their own sandboxes? What about deploying to production?
