Protecting your Web Applications With The DNS
=============================================

A 20 Minute talk

Publicly available web applications are increasingly vulnerable
to the attentions of crackers and spammers, especially when the
opportunity to present "spamvertising" via guestbooks, wikis and
messageboards in a relatively risk free manner presents itself.

In order to protect their internet connectivity these spammers
will use open proxies and other exploited systems, fortunately these
are becoming increasingly well known among the anti-spam communicty.

This talk will outline a relatively simple mechanism by which you
can protect your web applications from being exploited by spammers,
using information that has been collected by anti-spam groups in order
to protect e-mail servers from spam.
