Have you heard of this DBIx::Class thing? Wondering why people seem to prefer to use it in both large and small projects? Then come and see some examples of how the apparent initial complexity is dwarfed by the possibilities to scale things a little bit down the road.
This talk will not be a basic introduction to DBIC, but more a set of real-world examples of what you could do with the tools we already have. This said, no experience with DBIC is required at all. Knowing basic SQL however will be very very helpful to follow this talk.
