In this talk I will show some of the techniques I used for building iusethis.com. The site is built on Catalyst and DBIx::Class, and the focus will be on those technologies. I will show you how I easily implemented AJAX components, supported multiple views such as RSS and OPML as well as export to open formats. We will also look at strategies for implementing folksonomies, and effective site search.
This is a more hands-on introduction to Catalyst-based development.
