Customizing and Extending Perl Critic

By Josh McAdams (‎jmcadams‎) from Chicago.pm
Date: Sunday, 29 April 2007 11:30
Duration: 30 minutes
Language:

Perl Critic alone is an amazing tool for statically analyzing and improving your code. However, the out-of-the-box (or off-of-the-CPAN) solution might not be exactly what you are looking for. This talk will show how projects like Bangs have taken Perl Critic and built upon it to create a custom environment for statically analyzing your code. It will also show you how to truly embrace and extend Perl
Critic to fit the needs of your development shop.
