Payment system for registration / participation confirmation opened

22/08/08 10:00 by Enrico Sorcinelli (‎bepi‎)

We are officially opening the payment system for registration or participation confirmation to the conference.

The Italian Perl Workshop is a free event, and it's not necessary to buy a ticket to participate. Our sponsors have been generous enough that we can 'almost' afford it.
Organizational costs are (for us) nearly always a problem, and this year the organizers have even managed to cover the expenses of 4 guest speakers coming from all over Europe.
Once you have logged in, you can go to the 'Edit profile' page, and follow the 'confirm your participation' link. On that page you can confirm you participation.
Therefore, if you want to support the Workshop, you can choose to pay the "Supporter" price or make a donation. This will help us offer better services and organize events of ever higher quality (for example, we may pay the dinner to the speakers).
In addition, by paying the "Supporter" ticket, you'll also get:

We'd like, for all the people that plan to be at the dinner on 18/09/2008, to buy their tickets before September 8: that will help us in the organization and booking the restaurant. However you will be able to confirm and pay for attendees' dinner at conference reception (during registration).
