The location for the 2009 edition of the Italian Perl Workshop is the Area della Ricerca di Pisa (Recearch Center) of the CNR (National Research Council). The venue feature an auditorium, other rooms, an exhibition space, and WiFi coverage for Internet access.

The Auditorium, which seats 338, features an audio system, video
recordings, projection and wireless Internet access.
The seminar rooms can seat 80. All of them feature an audio system,
projection and wireless Internet access.
Exhibition spaces, ideal for booths, coffee breaks, poster
sessions, etc.
