Nothing Can Possibly Go Wrong... Again
Nothing Can Possibly Go Wrong... Again
By Adam Kennedy (Alias) from Sydney.pm
Date: Wednesday, 13 August 2008 15:50
Duration: 30 minutes
Language:
Reprising his original "Nothing Can Possibly Go Wrong" talk from
YAPC::NA 2006 (and mixing in some of the best bits from the first one nobody in Europe saw),
Adam will once again attempt to provide an antidote to all the positive
conference talks
by taking the audience on a whirlwind tour of failure, disaster, and
seductive traps.
Second time around, appropriately, the focus is on iterative systems,
with a mixture
of lessons from psychology, evolution, ecology and economics.
