I would like to use some of the spare time during and around YAPC to make some progress on Padre - the Perl Application Development and Refactoring Environment
I am arriving on the 11th, teaching on the 12th and staying till 17th in the evening.
As a minimum it would be great to hook some more people on Padre and get them write some code in it. Better yet, for it.
Some of the tasks people might want to work on:
- Add a minimal debugger interface
- Add Perl project support
- (use PerlySense">PerlySense ?)
- Add button to generate distribution of the code (PAR ?)
- Improve search, add search and replaces
- Add an application creation wizard
- Plugin mechanizm
AFAIK the author of Kephra is going to be in Copenhagen as well so this can be turned into an opportunity for cooperation.
