Details on other hotels with special prices for the conference are also available in this page, as surely we can't fit all the attendees in one hotel, and not all attendees will be looking for the same thing.

Mid-Priced Hotels (2-3 stars)

Hotel Alif - three stars (almost fully booked)

Hotel Alif is located at Campo Pequeno, close to Campo Pequeno Underground Station, two stops away in the Yellow Line from the Conference venue (Cidade Universitária Station).
Prices:

  • Extra bed: 20 euros/night (includes breakfast)

Hotel NH Campo Grande - four stars

This hotel is located within walking distance from the University Campus (20-minute walk), near Campo Grande Gardens and the National Library, opposite Entrecampos Underground Station, one stop away in the Yellow Line from the Conference venue (Cidade Universitária Station).
Prices:

  • Single room: 83 euros/night (includes breakfast)
  • Double room: 90 euros/night (includes breakfast)
  • Note: Mention YAPC and the faculty of sciences when booking

Additional Information:

Their website offers a reduction of 15% (72 Euros per night for a single room with breakfast) for advanced bookings, however booking.com are currently stating only 5 rooms left! Also according to booking.com, internet access is charged at 10 Euros per hour :( - Barbie.

Hotel Radisson SAS Lisbon - four stars

The hotel is within walking distance from the University Campus (20-30 minute walk), and near Campo Grande Underground Station, one stop away in the Yellow Line from the Conference venue (Cidade Universitária Station).
Prices:

  • Single room: 85 euros/night (includes breakfast)
  • Double room: 95 euros/night (includes breakfast)
  • Extra bed: 25 euros/night (includes breakfast)
  • Note: Mention YAPC when booking
  • Conditions for kids: free lodging and breakfast until 12 years old, without requiring an extra bed, sharing the room with two grownups; maximum of two kids.

Aditional Information:

Wireless Internet:
The hotel has free wireless internet, but you need to ask at reception for a user name and password. The wired internet in some rooms is not free, so do not use it.

Goodnight Hostel is one of the 2008 Top 10 Hostels worldwide.

It is located in the heart of Lisbon's historical downtown area, on a pedestrian street parallel to the famous Rua Augusta, very close to the city's great monuments, and the best nightlife.
