How to get online at the Alif

Since most of the people arrived at the Alif the wifi network started to fail at serving dhcp calls :(

Yesterday I was poking arround and found that dhcp is the only thing that doesn't work, so, here is the config params and my proposal for a manual-dhcpd assignment table :)

  • gw: 192.168.2.254
  • netmask: 255.255.255.0
  • dns (open dns):
    • 208.67.222.222
    • 208.67.220.220
  • dns (hotel):
    • 192.168.2.254
    • 212.113.164.58

IP assignments

192.168.2.99 - diegok
192.168.2.100 - roberto
192.168.2.109 - alexm
192.168,2,198 - htoug
192.168.2.217 - chisel
192.168.2.218 - chisel (phone)
228 - domm (until noon thurday)
229 - rGeoffrey
192.168.2.220 - hoeni
192.168.2.142 - rpetre
