The talk will introduce a Perl interface to libxml2 library for processing XML documents. Basic tasks, such as parsing strategies, XPath querying, DOM processing, namespace handling, and serialization, will be covered first, then some time will be spent on presenting recent and upcoming features, e.g. XML Reader interface, support for pre-compiled XPath expressions, and structured error messages, and finally, several topics regarding the module's performance will be discussed.
