How to plan and build your next project using Modern Perl libraries and practices. A series of workshops, lectures and tutorials on designing, planning and constructing from concept to completion. The day will be split as follows:
Overview: 15 minutes
Introduction to Moose: 30 minutes
Classes, attributes and subclasses practical: 30 minutes
Testing Moose classes: 20 minutes
Roles and refactoring: 20 minutes
Test, refactor and extend practical: 30 minutes
Catalyst, DBIx::Class and Moose overview: 15 minutes
Catalyst: putting a front end on your domain: 30 minutes
Catalyst actions and templates practical: 30 minutes
DBIx::Class basics: 20 minutes
Persisting your domain: 20 minutes
Catalyst and DBIx::Class practical: 30 minutes
