Wiki - LightningTalks

The Lightning Talk for day 1 are over. The talks for day 2 and 3 have been accepted, final order and which talks are pushed back to Friday will be selected soonish. If you have just been accepted and not talked with R Geoffrey Avery (‎rGeoffrey‎) please find me to help with the scheduling decisions.

Good ideas for advertisements:

  • a Bird-of-a-feather session (BOF)
  • an auction item you want to get higher bids for
  • forming a new Perl Monger group

Some important links:

The plan is to have 8 talks on day one and still be ready for the buses to start rolling to dinner at 18:00. Then 7 talks on day two before heading to the London.pm social meeting or your regularly scheduled evening activities. And finally 7 talks on day three before the auction.

Currently the schedule shows most talks on day one, but the schedule will be firmed up as we get closer to the event. If one of those talks is yours and you have not yet confirmed, there is no time like the present. Any talks not confirmed by Wednesday's dinner risk being dropped from the schedule and replaced by another speaker or a short shell script.
